It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David S. Petzel of Carpentersville, Illinois, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David S. Petzel to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Sylvester Petzel and Mary Petzel-Wrzepski (Husick); and his sister Cynthia Petzel. He is survived by : his wife Cheryl Petzel; his children, Jacqueline Petzel and Geoffrey Petzel (Melissa); and his siblings, Pam Lisack (Tom) and Thomas Petzel (Carmella). He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Catherine of Siena Church (845 W Main St, West Dundee, IL 60118). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
