We announce the death of Myrtle Rock of Carpentersville, Illinois, who passed away on August 3, 2026, at the age of 91. Myrtle will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Tacker and Velma Tacker; her husband John E. Rock; her son Thomas L. Rock; and her siblings, Grace Smith, Charles and Ellis Tacker.
She is survived by: her daughter Tina Matison (Tom); her daughter-in-law Judy Rock; her grandchildren, Austin, Alexa, Ashlee Matison, Thomas II Rock (Tina), Cherrell Ward (Dave), Jennifer White (Glen) and Marty Rock (Enid); and her great grandchildren, Tyler Ward (Taylor), Alyssa, Kaitlin and Vanessa White.
