She was predeceased by: her parents, Waldo Lorenz and Frieda Caroline Holst. She is survived by: her husband Frank Hewitt; her daughters, Debra Whelton (late Charles) of Bloomington, Barbara Lewallen (Gary) of Schaumburg, Laura Terry of Sterling and Sandra Manaois (Andre) of Algonquin; and her grandchildren, Matt, Mike, Kaitlin, Jackson, Sophie and Sam.
Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church in West Dundee or St. Croix Hospice in Huntley.
