With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janella Deuel (Carrier Mills, Illinois), who passed away on February 10, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Freeman Dale and Gladys Pankey (Keith); her husband Tom Deuel; her grandson Michael Herrin; and her sister Judy Johnson (Pankey).
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Barr (Raymond) and Shannon Deuel (Blair); her brother John Pankey (Vickie); her nieces, Lindsey Pankey, Jaina, Jayla Johnson and Jackie Lasko; her sisters-in-law, Linda Ayotte, Rebecca Mauney, Lura Bright and Sheryl Hurd; and her grandchildren, Billy, Maloree, Bronson and Baylor Tippett.
Memorial contributions may be made in Janie's memory to The Voyage Senior Living, a non-profit assisted living company, as a thank you for their amazing support to The Deuel family during Janie's illness. The donations will go to a fund to assist seniors with their rent in assisted living.
