Lester D. Kujawa Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lester D. Kujawa of Carrier Mills, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 14, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester John and Thelma Marie Kujawa (Slusher); his wife Ruby Mae French; and his son Garry Kujawa. He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Plunkett (Randy) of Eldorado, IL and Nancy Callis (Gary); his daughter-in-law Angella Kujawa of Mineral Point, WI; his siblings, John Kujawa (Lynn) of Atchison, KS and Marilyn Jones of DuQuoin, IL; and his grandchildren, Andrea Austin (Tim), Joy Costephens (Brad), Bret Plunkett, Justin Williams, Jordan Beasley (Jeremy), Joshua Callis (Meggan), Kyle Callis (Kalia) and Bruce Kontz. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pyatt Funeral Home (309 S Main St, Pinckneyville, IL 62274).
