He is survived by: his wife Geri Morgan (Nolen); his sons, Eli Morgan (Kaitlynn) of Crab Orchard, Luke Morgan (Jackie) of Kirksey and Gabe Morgan (Micalea) of Crab Orchard; his siblings, Charlie Morgan (Pam) of Buffalo and Alexa Migas (Jeremiah) of Crawfordsville; his grandchildren, Wrenlee Marie, Reed Alan, Bankston Alan and Lincoln Richard; and his sister-in-law Carla Kirkland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Carrier Mills Methodist Church or Salem Cemetery, honoring Richard's commitment to both faith and community.
