She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gehlhausen and Margaret Kallal Gehlhausen; and her brother-in-law Marlin Varble. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Isham; her children, Melissa Prough (Howard) of Carrollton and Gary Isham of Carrollton; her grandchildren, Landry Prough (Kassidy), Megan Roemer (Glenn) and Wade Prough (Cailee); her great grandchildren, Howard Landry Lee Prough and Maxine Leigh Prough; and her siblings, Mary Varble, Rose Custer (Kenny) of Carrollton and John Gehlhausen (Jimmy) of Belleville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Airsman-Hires Funeral Home - Carrollton (108 N 5th St, Carrollton, IL 62016). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St John's Catholic Church (414 3rd St, Carrollton, IL 62016). A burial was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at the St. John's Cemetery.
