He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James H. Childress and Imogene D. Flowers Childress; his son Jerry Childress of Carrollton; and his siblings, Marie Stuart (Ron) of Carrollton and Danny Childress (Renee) of Brighton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Reedemer Lutheran Church and sent to Airsman-Hires Funeral Home, 108 5th St. Carrollton, Il. 62016.
