With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Alan Harp of Carrollton, Illinois, born in Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on December 9, 2023 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Richard Merle Harp; his grandchildren, Chloe JoLynn Murphy and Zeke Owen Alexander; his brother Randy Harp; and his fathers-in-law, Joseph Hunter and Raymond Thompson.
He is survived by: his mother Dolores Harp (Lynn) of Roodhouse; his wife Yvonne Harp of Carrollton; his children, Chelsey Barnes (Aaron Witt) of Carrollton, Leighton Harp of Titusville and Tabitha Alexander (Nathan Long) of Roodhouse; his grandchildren, Jordan, Jace, Roarie, Ryleigh, Chesney and Zander; his sisters, Lyn Anne Ballard (James) of White Hall, Beth Huffines (Charles) of Roodhouse and Dixie Harp (Don Burton) of White Hall; his mother-in-law Doris Thompson of Carrollton; his pet Bentley; and his nieces and nephews, TJ Huffines, Kerr Ballard, Josh Talley, Mason Daugherty, Beth Talley and Mya Daugherty. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews.
Memorials may be given to Chloe Foundation, in honor of Rich's late granddaughter; or to Lone Oak Golf Course, to allow for the continued support of local charities, that Rich passionately supported throughout the years.
