With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra Edwards of Carrollton, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 9, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Sandra may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sandra touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carrollton First Baptist Church (203 Fifth St, Carrollton, IL 62016). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at the White Hall Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to District One Foundation, Carrollton First Baptist Church or Boyd Hospital.
