He was predeceased by: his mothers, Agnes Shafer (Smith) and Marjorie Cory (Shafer) of Kane, IL.; his wife Henrietta Willis; and his siblings, Donald Cory, Kenneth Cory, Bob Shafer, Toni Dixon (Cory), Dorothy Nesbitt (Shafer) and Betty Seline (Shafer).
He is survived by: his daughter Angelia Baumer (Shafer); and his son-in-law Larry Baumer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Carrollton Hawk Football Team and Providence Cemetery.
