She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh H. North and Sylvia North (Chamness); her husband James Hampton; and her siblings, Ronald H. North and Marlene Earl.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Kim D. North, Robin H. North (Pat North), Dana Earl and David Earl; her great-niece Mary Lynne Hampton; her sons, James Michael Hampton and John Hampton (Alicia); her grandchildren, Andrew Hampton (Emma), Emily Matthias (Lewis), Molly Hampton, Claire Hampton and Grace Hampton; her great grandchildren, Graham Matthias and Palmer; her brother-in-law Tom Hampton (Karen); her niece Jamie Wright (Robert); and her nephew Ethan Hampton (Cara). She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews; and many friends.
