He is survived by: his wife Rachelle Kassen; his children, Dillon Kassen of Carterville, Gregory Kassen of Albers, Clay Kassen of Albers, Samantha Kassen of Little Rock, Rachel Poettker (Bryan) of Aviston, Tiffany Preston (Michael) of New Baden, Clarissa Hill (Marshal) of Dowell, David Ribbing (Brittany) of Mascoutah and Ashley Miller (Brendan) of Mascoutah; his siblings, David Kassen (Phyllis), Donald Kassen (Tara), Debra Kehrer of Albers, Diane "Fritz" Strubhart (Fred) of Bartelso and Barb Schroader (Ken) of Bartelso; his mother-in-law Nancy Sutman of Marion; and his brother-in-law Robert Ross Jr. (Tracy). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; one great grandchild.
