He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Sr. Emery and Ruby Emery (Crain). He is survived by: his wife Phyllis A. Jones; his children, James Robert Emery (Tina) and LaDonna Chandler (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Nicole A. Morgan (Travis), Caleb W. Heern, Tiffani R. Emery (Jonathan Sanford) and Hunter J. Emery; his great grandchildren, Rylee N. Morgan, Gunner S. Morgan and Addyson J. Morgan; and his siblings, Tony Emery (Edith) and Sue Jones.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Monday Meals c/o Carterville City Hall, or Camp Jerico, Grange Hall Freewill Baptist Church.
