He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Jean Towle of West Frankfort, Kendra Sue Smith (Mike) of Herrin and Nancy Ann Nicholls (Jeff) of Virginia Beach; his grandchildren, Annette (Tim), Justin (Nicole), Autumn, Denny (Shana), John, Heather (Deven) and Angie (Jared); his great grandchildren, Brittany, Nikki (Alec), Colton (Lilly), Mason, Brees, Willow, Levi, Owen, Trent and Kiera; his great great grandchildren, Lakelyn Cooper and Dayton Collins; and his great grandchildren, Frank "Butch" Ostland, Gertrude Peterson and Freida Nichols.
