He was predeceased by: his birth parents, Conrado Ramirez and Maria Ramirez-Romero; and his adoptive parents, Leo Lusitana (Olga Lusitana) and Olga Lusitana. He is survived by: his children, Tim Lusitana (Adrienne) of Decatur, IL, Tom Lusitana (Carolyn) of Carterville, IL and Patty Gremm (Eric) of Henderson, NV; and his grandchildren, Leilani Lusitana, Joey Medina, Victoria Medina and Sienna Gremm. He is also survived by nine siblings; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Life Builders Church (833 W Pershing Rd, Decatur, IL 62526). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Camp Butler National Cemetery (5063 Camp Butler Rd, Springfield, IL 62707).
