The memory of Lesley Diamond of Carterville, Illinois, who passed away on June 14, 2025 at the age of 71, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Lesley may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lesley touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester W. Best and Adeline D. Best (Mohele) of Carterville, IL.. She is survived by: her son Robert Terry (Pam) of Herrin, IL; and her siblings, Ron Best (Cheryl) of Sarasota, FL and Madeline Durka (Mark) of Houston, TX. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital.
