Marilyn Hastings Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn Hastings of Carterville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 5, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene "Gene" H. Stocks and Lamoria M. Stocks (Richardson); her husband Ronald Lee Hastings; and her daughter Dawn Marie Hastings. She is survived by: her children, Jeremi Hastings (Shelly) and Heather Hastings (Michael Knott); her grandchildren, Kelsey Beavers (Jonathon), Tristen Hastings, Hannah Knott, Sophie Knott, Mackenzie Lindsey, Fallon Hastings, Hunter Hastings, Noah Skibinski, Carolyn Skibinski and Gage Skibinski; and her great grandchildren, Astrid Hicky, Grayson Phelps, Elinor Bissey and Vivian Bissey.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home (322 N Division St, Carterville, IL 62918). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
