She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hedrick and Mary Evelyn Hensley (Halstead); her husband Wendell Ray Yewell; her brothers, George D. and James "Jim" W. Hensley; and her grandson Alan Spencer.
She is survived by: her daughter Ann Spencer; her grandchildren, Heather Filson (Kyle), Jennifer Sizemore (Brent) and Wes Spencer (Victoria Trapani); her great grandchildren, Ian Bogard, Ali Sizemore, Logan Filson and Kylie Filson; and her sisters-in-law, Connie Hensley and Doris Hensley. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home (322 N Division St, Carterville, IL 62918). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Anne West Lindsey District Library in Carterville.
