He is survived by: his wife Linda Wear of Carthage, IL; his children, Tonja Vance, Roberta Wear (Bobbi) and Shelli Sawyer; his grandchildren, Cyle Vance (Courtney), Terra Rose, Kendall Hall, Sidnee Sawyer and McKenzie Hall; his great grandchildren, Norah and Chloe Vance; and his sister Kay Sumner.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made out to the Carthage Golf Club or the Hancock County Humane Society.
