He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd and Theresa Carroll (Bromberg); his wife Alvera Neisen of Joseph's Catholic Church; and his brothers, Daniel and Paul Carroll.
He is survived by: his children, Dan Carroll (Deanne) of Carthage, Colleen McAndrew (John) of Fort Collins and David Carroll (Tami) of Carthage; his grandchildren, John Carroll (Kelly) of Carthage, Catherine Henoch of Keokuk, Sarah Mandolia (Rishu) of St. Charles, Mary Moore (Alan) of Bozeman, Montana, Michael Carroll of Winfield and Anna Carroll of Carthage; his children, John McAndrew of Ft. Collins, Mary Oliver (Jon) of Ft. Collins, Joseph McAndrew (Tessa) of Basco, Illinois, Drew Carroll (Erica) of Carthage, Mackenzie McLean (Ben) of Minneapolis, Aaron Carroll (Jessica) of Carthage and Brayden Carroll (Katelyn) of Birmingham, Alabama; and his siblings-in-law, Jimmy Neisen (Peggy) and Mary Helen Carroll. He is also survived by Nineteen great grandchildren.
