He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Dean and Thea Amanda Mabry (Jewell); his brother Arnold; his grandsons, Allen Donald Johnson and Blake Robert Johnson; his in-laws, Donald and Edna A. Marshall; and his brother-in-law Steve Marshall.
He is survived by: his wife Sonja Edith Marshall of Carthage; his daughters, Debbie Johnson (Rex) of LaHarpe, Carolyn Wright (Tim) of Rushville and Melissa Merriman (Jamie) of Winchester; his grandchildren, Kirsten Juarez (Robert), Kelly Johnson (Christian), Brandon Wright (Kara), Austin Wright, Aaron Merriman (Calla), Drew Merriman (Delaney) and Anna Merriman (Colby); Connie Scheuermann (Don) of Mackinaw, Illinois.. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the Denver Christian Church or St. Jude's Hospital.
