He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon McMillen and Velma McMillen (Speer); his niece Robin Runge (McMillen); his nephew Ross McMillen; and his brother Weldon McMillen.
He is survived by: his daughters, KaDee Shutwell (Jared), Kara Ruffcorn (Ryan) and Kelly Carlson (Kevin); his grandchildren, Maddie Porter (Jackson), Ella Shutwell, Ava Shutwell, Myah Shutwell, Allie Ruffcorn, Isabelle Ruffcorn, Samuel Carlson and Lucy Carlson; his great grandchild Cameron Porter; his brother Gene McMillen (Marcia) of Omaha; and his sister-in-law Pat McMillen of Warsaw.
Memorials may be made out to the Carthage Fire Station or the First Christian Church.
