Mike Gronewold Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Mike Gronewold of Carthage, Illinois. Mike, born on March 25, 1961, passed away on August 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father George, Jr. Gronewold; his brother John Gronewold; his in-laws, Junior and Mary Patrick; and his uncles, Ed Harrison and Mike O'Connell.

He is survived by: his mother Carol Gronewold (O'Connell) of Carthage; his wife Marla June Patrick of Carthage; his daughters, Randi LeAnn Summers (Zach) of Keokuk, Mary Danielle White (Jordan) of West Point, Lauren Michael Gronewold of Carthage and Michaela Ann Gooding (Kennedy) of Carthage; his grandchildren, Harrison, Addison, Ellison Summers, Sophia White, Nash Neff, Adley, Grace and Reese Gooding; his siblings, Joe Gronewold (Connie) of Quincy, Jeanne Gronewold of Quincy and Andy Gronewold (Lori) of Carthage; and his aunts, Gerri Harrison of Carthage and Jane O'Connell of Quincy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In honor of Mike's deep love for his family, a memorial fund has been created to benefit his grandchildren.
