We announce the death of Donald Michael Serpe of Cary, Illinois, who passed away on July 20, 2026, at the age of 96. Donald will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Santo Serpe and Catarina Serpe; and his wife Dolores LaVerne Serpe. He is survived by: his children, Donna Linsner (Michael), Daniel Serpe (Georgiann) and Diane Harris (Michael); his grandchildren, Lauren Hills (John Paul), Evan Linsner, Don Serpe, Dominique Haffery (Noah), Courtney DiMare (Kyle), Alec St (Angelina) and Jennifer Klimowicz; and his great grandchildren, John Paul Jr., Violet, John Daniel, Ezra Haffery, Luca and Milo DiMare.
