She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Kern and Clementine Kern; her brothers-in-law, Charles Foster and Stephen Gratz; and her nephew Mark Foster.
She is survived by: her siblings, Joan Barrus, Andrea Foster, Karolyn Gratz and Edward "Tucker" Kern. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and many lifelong friends.
