We announce the death of Betty Rowena (Coleman) Birchfield of Casey, Illinois, who passed away on June 25, 2026, at the age of 92. Betty will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Allie Coleman and Goldie Marie Coleman (Anderson); her husband David Augustus Birchfield; her children, Derek Cole Birchfield and Vicki Diane Curtis (James); and her grandson David Carl Curtis.

She is survived by: her son Tracy S. Birchfield (Ginger) of Casey, IL; and her grandchildren, Michelle Curtis of Casey, IL, Betty Jean Sewell of Martinsville, IL, Brooke Fuller (Craig) of Casey, IL, Sierra Miller (Brandon) of Casey, IL, Skylar Bragg (Chad) of Casey, IL, Baili Patchett of Casey, IL and Taylor Birchfield of Casey, IL. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
