We announce the death of Daniel Lee Benefield of Casey, Illinois, who passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 52. He was predeceased by: his father Billy Gene Benefield; his brother Billy Benefield, Jr.; his uncle Rick Benefield; and his daughter-in-law Erika Dawn Benefield. He is survived by: his mother Mary Louise Weck Benefield (Doug) of Casey, IL; his son Cody Daniel Benefield (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Emersynn, Jamisyn, Addisynn and Gracesynn of Casey, IL; his son Cory Michael Benefield; his grandchildren, Paisley, Mickey, Oliver, Leston, Navy-Grace and Kennedy of Harrisburg, IL; his daughter Chloey Benefield (Ethan Bowden); his grandchild Avery of Casey, IL; his stepson Triston Gerhardt; and his stepgrandchild Riley of Marshall, IL.
