Janis leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Janis’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Janis will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Darr; her son Richard Darr; and her sister-in-law Carol Janssen. She is survived by: her siblings, Daniel Winn Sr., Jim Winn, Donna Saylor and John Winn; and her son Michael Darr. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, her 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; her siblings; extended family; church family; and the many friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Markwell Funeral Home (200 N Central Ave, Casey, IL 62420). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
