He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest McEwen and Ethel McEwen; his wife Darlene McEwen; his brother Raymond McEwen (Glenda); his grandson Austin McEwen; and his niece Mary Beth McEwen.
He is survived by: his children, Randy McEwen (Alice) of Caseyville, IL and Melody McEwen of Caseyville, IL; his grandchildren, Dylan McEwen of Cottage Hills, IL and Dayle McEwen of Kansas City, MO; his niece Donna Lowe (John) of St. Jacob, IL; his great-nephews, Zach Lowe (Mary) of Santa Claus, IN and Bobby Wondolowski (Tricia) of Millstadt, IL; his great-niece Micah Olan-Lowe (Erick) of St. Louis, MO; Sophia Jettson, Elara Olan, Bobby and Mack Wondolowski. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
