He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Palus and Rose Palus (Sertich). He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Callis; his children, Robbie Palus of Steamboat Springs, Colorado and Jessie Palus of Fairview Heights, Illinois; his brother Bob Palus (Pam Shadwick) of Glen Carbon, Illinois; his mother-in-law Nancy Callis of O'Fallon, Illinois; his siblings-in-law, Kevin, Lisa Callis of Bloomington, Bob and Kim Ready of Hayworth, Illinois; and his cousin Dot Pawlak. He is also survived by many other cousins, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Irwin Chapel of Glen Carbon (591 Glen Crossing Rd, Glen Carbon, IL 62034). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Siteman Cancer Center in St. Louis and may be accepted at the funeral chapel.
