It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerard B. Schreckenberg of Caseyville, Illinois, born in Leopold, Missouri, who passed away on December 12, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, George Schreckenberg and Marie Schreckenberg (Jansen); and his siblings, Ann Marie Heisie and Patrick Schreckenberg. He is survived by : his wife Sharon (Bollinger); his children, Linda Poggemoeller (Don), Sheila Quirk-Bailey, Alan Schreckenberg (Laura), Jason Schreckenberg (Julie) and Amanda Ranieri (Dan); his grandchildren, Andrew Schreckenberg (Katie), Lynn Cooper (Thomas), Abby Poggemoeller, Sarah Katzen (Sam), Jacob Quirk, Katlynn, Alisa Schreckenberg, Regan Schreckenberg, Nolan and Logan Ranieri; his great grandchild Coen Schreckenberg; and his siblings, Alice Thorne, John (Helen), Tom, Vince (Linda), Virgil and Rita Eftink (Jerry).
