It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. Quinn of Caseyville, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on February 12, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his daughter Julie Ann Quinn; his parents, Francis Quinn and Loretta Fleiter Borgman (Bernard); his brother Jerry Borgman; and his brothers-in-law, Gean Griffin and John Petschonek.
He is survived by : his wife Joan E. Quinn; his children, Christie Coonley (Ken) of Collinsville, IL, James Mark Quinn (Robin) of Collinsville, IL, Linda Meirink (Dan) of Belleville, IL, Tony Quinn (Anne) of Belleville, IL and Cathy Dye (David) of St. Louis, MO; his grandchildren, Sarah Goode (Brandon), Casey Coonley, Julianne Coonley, Jamie Klinger (Caleb), Maribeth Bendick (Kyle), Melissa Gehrs (Jacob), Meaghan Brewer, Anthony Quinn (Aaren), Trisha Cobb (Devan), Dustin Dye, Caroline Dye and Reis Dye; his siblings, MaryAnn Griffin, Ron Borgman and Pat Petschonek; his sister-in-law Nancy Borgman; and his caregiver Kathy Baker Klebert. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Mount Grace Convent of the Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters or to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
