He is survived by: his wife Cara Stemm of Caseyville, IL; his father Gerald Stemm (Lorraine) of Chesapeake, VA.; his children, Jason Stemm (Trish) of Herrin, IL, Nathan Smith (Jen) of Ofallon, IL and Aimee Branch (Kenny) of Swansea, IL.; his grandchildren, Khristion Stemm (Stephanie) of Carbondale, IL, Jeremiah Stemm (Dylan Felty) of Carbondale, IL, Ethan Stemm, Elias of Herrin, IL, Colton, Knox Smith of Ofallon, IL, Kenzie Gelsinger (Branch) of Carlyle, IL and Jacob Branch of Swansea, IL.; and his brother Aaron Stemm of Chesapeake, VA. He is also survived by his family, especially with his wife and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the August Gate Church (1209 Royal Heights Rd, Belleville, IL 62226). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
