She was predeceased by: her father Robert Gildo Varda; and her brother Joseph Varda. She is survived by: her mother Genevieve Varda; her husband David Smith; her children, Michael Hitch (Kaya Peterson), Brittany Hitch, Jessica Lampe (Randy), Hope Jones (Wesley) and David Smith Jr.; her sisters, Cindy Sheppard-Bodine, Brenda Sheppard and Lorrie Sheppard-Maurer; and her grandchildren, Paige, Miahlee, Zada, Kahlani Mae, Elijah, Aileah, Lorelei, Laynie, Londyn, Livian, Carter and Carson. She is also survived by many cousins, and loving friends.
