Bernadette Catherine McFetridge Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2025, at the age of 71, Bernadette Catherine McFetridge of Catlin, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard "Ben" Bahen and Leona Bahen (Pallasch); her sister Mary Ellen Phillips; and her sister-in-law Jean Bahen. She is survived by: her children, Katherine Hightower (Darrin) of Danville, Illinois and Michael McFetridge (Maiko) of Fairbanks, Alaska; her brother James Bahen of Taylor Ridge, Illinois; her sisters-in-law, Jane McLean (Don) of Dixon and Sheila Kitlen (John) of Tabernash, Colorado; and her grandchildren, Aurora Hightower, Penelope Hightower, Mia McFetridge, Miles McFetridge and Darrin Hightower III.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (444 E Main St, Danville, IL 61832). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Vermilion County Animal Shelter.
