Though James P. may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James P. touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Meharry and Dorothy Gunkel Meharry. He is survived by: his siblings, Tom Meharry (Janis) and Jane Aufmuth (Steve); his nieces and nephews, Elysia Aufmuth (Don Harder) and John Meharry (Monica); and his great-nieces, Tommie Meharry of Preslie Meharry, A. J, Harder and Gabriela Harder.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Robison Chapel (103 Douglas St, Catlin, IL 61817).
In lieu of flowers, donations to Jim's memory may be made to the Catlin Historical Society.
