It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Calvin Blaufuss of Catlin, Illinois, who passed away on September 12, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Paul H. Blaufuss and Hedwig Blaufuss (Zimmerman); and his siblings, Paul and Alice. He is survived by: his wife Barbara [Smith] Johnson; his stepdaughter Tricia Cawthon (Phillip); his children, John (Jocelyn) and Janna McDaniel (Matthew); his stepgrandchildren, Casey Harrison and Nigel Cawthon; his granddaughters, Audrey Laura (Logan), Madelyn and Lillian; and his stepgreat-grandson Caiden Cawthon.
