It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Aurelia Sauer in Centralia, Illinois, born in Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on September 30, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Hilpert and Mary Hilpert; and her husband Charles "Chuck" Sauer. She is survived by : her children, David Sauer (Sheri Sauer) of Centralia and Diane Sauer (Kenneth Noll) of Storrs, Connecticut.; her grandchildren, Colin D. Sauer, MD (Molly Sauer) of Washington, IL, Rachel Sauer of Washington, DC, Kimberly Romero (Tim Romero) of St. Charles, MO, Jake Noll of Los Angeles and Erika Noll of San Diego; and her great grandchildren, Joseph, Isabella, Violet Sauer, Gabriel, Adrian and Micah Romero.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Centralia Cultural Society or the Centralia Humane Society and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, who is honored to be of service to the Sauer Family.
