Barbara Tippit Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Tippit of Centralia, Illinois, who passed away on November 12, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Leon and Evelyn Hughes; her husband Freddy Tippit; and her brother-in-law David Tippit. She is survived by: her daughters, Michele Tippit (Adam Nehrt) of Swansea, Laura Mayer (Brent) of Centralia and Jennifer Zink (Josh) of Louisville; her grandchildren, Lexi Lawson (Mike) of Centralia, Avery Mayer of Centralia, Luke Mayer of Centralia, Mila Zink and Ledger Zink of Louisville; her great grandchild Lincoln Lawson of Centralia; and her brother Reggie Hughes (Debby) of Old Hickory, TN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
