He is survived by : his children, Bennie Joe Cooper, Jr. of Auburn, Nena Wilkins (James) of Matthews and Kalyn Cooper of Auburn; and his siblings, Jessie Cooper (Lavern) of Lilbourn, Walter Cooper of Sikeston, Wash Cooper, Jr. (Emily) of Arlington, Larry Cooper of Memphis, Dora Brown (Joe), Geraldine Bigham (Bobby) of Charleston, Lula Bankhead of Memphis and Oca Cooper of Kalamazoo. He is also survived by four granddaughters, three great grandchildren, the Smith family, nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, other relatives and friends.
