It is with sadness that the passing of Bobby J. Edwards Jr. (Centralia, Illinois) is shared. Bobby, born on November 28, 1959, passed away on September 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby J. Edwards, Sr. and Illa June Edwards (Long); his close friend Mugsy; his brother Joseph L. Edwards; and his son Benjamin Edwards.
He is survived by: his pet Maxamillion Edwards; his grandchildren, Kharma, Thor, Titus, Greycin, Jesse, Kaydence, Jeremy, Ezra, Killian, Jacob (Peyton), Brianna, Blake, Joseph and Grayson; and his siblings, Julie Picardy, Janice Y. Edwards, Dale Edwards and Wilbert Edwards. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home (235 N Sycamore St, Centralia, IL 62801). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the Edwards family kindly requests memorial donations be made in Bobby's name to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
