She was predeceased by: her father John Calvin Maroon; her husband LeRoy Ward; her mother Selma Marroon (Bierman); her father-in-law Roy; her brothers, Johnny Dale and Billy John Maroon; and her nephew Jonathon Hargis.

She is survived by: her children, Brent Ward (Robin) of Centralia, IL and Lori Demijan of O'Fallon, IL; her grandchildren, Brooks Demijan (Christine), Bailey Hargis (TC), Cameron Ward (Chelsea) and Cassidy Moss (Chelsey); her great grandchildren, Brynn Demijan, Trey Demijan, Annie Hargis, Lee Hargis, Easton Ward, Austin Ward, Weslynn Moss and Hannah Moss; her sister Barbra Hargis (Don Hargis); and her nieces, Tammy Collinsworth and Rhonda Hendricks.

Memorial contributions may be made in Bonnie's honor to the First Apostolic Church in Centralia, Illinois.
