He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Blackman Sr. and Dorothy Blackman (Atchison); his wife Cheryl Ann Brookman; and his sisters, Gayla Snell and Brenda Sanders.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Kirgan (Richard) of Salem, Contessa Blackman (Steve Norris) of Centralia and Madison Blackman of Centralia; his grandchildren, Rachel Orrell (Travis) of Breese, Kaitlyn O'Dell (Dakota) of Patoka, Cameron Lenzini, Jared Kirgan (Bree), Harley Mingus of Salem, Jayda Blackman, Savannah Posey, Jersey Blackman of Centralia, Cheyenne Johnston, Benjamin, Eayn and Alliesyn Norris of Centralia; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Raelynn, Nolan, Brian, Naomi and Declan; his sisters, Sherie Copple (Allen) of Walnut Hill, Dottie Matthews of Odin and Mary Litteken (Gary) of Trenton; his siblings-in-law, Michele Brookman of Centralia, Terry Brookman (Sandy) of Troy and Gary Brookman (Lana) of Ina; his nephews, David Sellers and Michael Sellers; his brother Vernon Sellers (Delores); his parents-in-law, Stanley Brookman and Virginia Brookman; and his brothers-in-law, Steve Brookman and Norman Matthews. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
