He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack W. Mathis and Barbara Jane Mathis (Bryant); his wife Rosemary Starr; his daughter Megan Brown; and his grandsons, Phoenix Ho and Michael Pinkston.
He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth Stewart (James), Stepfanie Smoot (RC) and Serena Claypool (Daniel); his brother Dusty Mathis (Geraldine); and his siblings-in-law, Laura Mathis, Anna Miller, Brenda Mitchell, Christina Hart, Carmen Thouvenin (Walter), Lloyd Starr Jr., Charlie Starr and John Starr. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shriners Childrens Hospital and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home located at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618) 532, 3523, who is honored to be of service to Chuck's Family.
