In the sacred silence of farewell, Charlotte is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Charlotte's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Gavette and Gladis Gavette (Tomis); and her husband Lloyd Ray McClain. She is survived by: her children, Tom McClain, Alen McClain (Debbie) and Kim Mireles (David); and her siblings, Dale Gavette and Lavita Evans. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Palestine Cemetery.
