Christopher Ray Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher Ray of Centralia, Illinois, who passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Christopher shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Christopher farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Ray; and his grandparents, Martha, Avery Toll McCrary, Darrell "Buss" and Bertha Ray.
He is survived by: his mother Tolleyne Ray (McCrary); his son Micheal; and his uncle Brad McCrary (April).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Macz Funeral Home - Centralia (234 S Elm St, Centralia, IL 62801). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in Chris' honor to Micheal Ray for the family's recovery from this tragic accident.
