He is survived by: his children, Thomas Gene Ellis (Jennifer) of Centralia, Donald Lee Ellis (Agnes) of Washington, Clyde William Ellis Jr. (Rhonda) of Nashville and Dawna Kay Cooley (Bradley) of Olney; and his sisters, Mary Newell of West Frankfort and Linda Clark of Leavenworth, Kansas. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made in Clyde's honor to the American Legion Post 446.
