He was predeceased by: his parents, Chris Shook and Marie Shook (Shaw); his son David Shook; and his sister Christine Hartman. He is survived by: his former wives, Patricia Robbins and Carol Hart; his sons, Darrell Shook and Douglas Shook; his sisters, Patricia Thomas and Karen Roetemeyer; his cousins, Larry Shook and Marla Cameron; his extended family, Scott Wreath, Debbie Wreath, Chad Wreath, Alan Sanner and Bruce Wreath; and his brother-in-law Mike Robbins. He is also survived by ses four nieces, two nephews, four great-nieces, four great-nephews, eight great-great-nieces, and two great-great-nephews.
In honor of Darrell's generous spirit, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital and Shriners, organizations close to his heart, and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home located at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618) 532-3523, who is honored to be of service to Darrell's Family.
