With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Allan Woolbright of Centralia, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As we bid David farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For David is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva "Cotsie" Woolbright and Velina Woolbright (Galassini); and his parents-in-law, Raymond and Betty Rose Hoyt. He is survived by: his wife Bette Woolbright of Centralia; his children, Mark Woolbright (Peggy) of Kirkwood, MO and Leigh Ann Miller (Mike) of Centralia; his sister Loretta Woolbright of Centralia; and his brother-in-law Mike Hoyt (Sue) of Centralia. He is also survived by grandchildren; 9 cherished great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in David's honor to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Got Your Six, who provide service dogs for veterans and first responders, and will be accepted for his family at the Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia.
